I'm sort of ... stunned.
Especially because it was Captain Devlin's Captive, not Vampire Close.
So then I ran a chapter from a non-fiction book I'm working on
***SQUEE***
I could only hope to write like him. That would be so cool.
So, if you try it, let me know in the comments what you get!!!
I don't know if I would admit to writing like an insane man who was only truly appreciated after his death.LOL LOL
ReplyDeleteI tried two different chapters (one toward the beginning, the other toward the end) from Destined to Choose. The result from the early chapter said I write like Kurt Vonnegut; the result from the latter: Stephen King.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try a few more, including from the new book, just to see. Interesting that both results are male authors. I wouldn't mind at all being compared to either of them. :-)
Oi! Lovecraft is my hero, dammit!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't insane....just really quiet and misunderstood. I can relate. ;)
Oooh!!! Vonnegut!!!! That's a good one.
ReplyDeleteNot to say Stephen King isn't, of course. :)
Another friend of mine got Stephanie Meyer and she was SOOOO hurt. I'm like, but hey, it means you're really popular and commercial! Look at it that way! :)
